As part of the State of Michigan’s municipal finance requirements (the Economic Vitality Incentive Program, from Public Act 63 of 2011), the Village of Bellaire is pleased to provide the following documents:
Dashboard (submitted November 2016)
The dashboard gives a quick look at several measurements that tell residents how well the village government is performing. Fiscal stability, economic strength, public safety, and quality of life are quantified in an easy-to-understand manner. Citizen's Guide (submitted November 2016)
The intent of the Citizen’s Guide is to provide a graphical presentation of the most important financial measures. The Citizen’s Guide summarizes the key financial trends that are indicative of the village’s fiscal health.
Debt Service / Projected Budget Report (submitted November 2016)
Another state requirement is to provide report of the village's debt service. Also required is a projected budget report. This report includes information regarding general fund revenues & expenditures for the current fiscal year and a general fund budget projection for the next fiscal year. The projection includes an explanation of assumptions used for the projections.
